FFL Transfers
STEP 1
Select us at checkout. We will send the shipping FFL (Transferor) a copy of our FFL upon request (if needed). They will need this prior to shipping your firearm to us. Unless your dealer asks for you to facilitate this, then you do not need to. If you have any questions please contact us.
STEP 2
Wait for shipping & processing. Due to the current volume of transfers we ask that you please wait at least 48 hours after delivery confirmation before contacting Roman Arms to allow for processing. We will contact you when it is ready to be picked up to set up your appointment. Please do not just show up expecting it to be ready if you have not been notified by us. If you have not heard from us within 3 days of your firearm arriving, please feel free to call us for an update.
STEP 3
Set appointment for pickup. When you come to pick-up the firearm, you will need to complete a Federal Form 4473 and present a valid Texas Driver License / Identification Card (with current address) and/or military PCS orders, the same as if you were purchasing a firearm from us. Current FFL transfer fee is $40 for the first firearm and $20 for each additional firearm transferred during the same visit.
Fine Print
Non-Serialized items transferred to us will incur a $25 per item handling fee unless prior permission from Roman Arms, LLC. is provided in writing prior to receiving items. Non-Serialized items should be shipped directly to your home to avoid this fee.
Roman Arms, LLC. is not responsible for coordinating the return of firearms from Transferor for “Denied” response from the background check, refused transfers (for any reason), or are otherwise unable to legally take possession of the firearm or if the item is not as described from seller. This is 100% the responsibility of the buyer to facilitate.
Transfers that have not been picked up within 30 days will incur a $25/month storage fee. Transfers that have not been picked up within 90 days, unless we have approved a longer time frame in writing, will be considered abandoned and become the property of Roman Arms, LLC. This applies to all items transferred to Roman Arms, LLC.
